Celebrating Life after Diagnosis

Authored by: I'm In on June 08, 2015

Each year on the first Sunday of June, National Cancer Survivors Day is celebrated across the globe to honor cancer survivors. Thanks to advances in diagnosis and treatment, there are an estimated 14.5 million Americans with a history of cancer who are still thriving.

I’m In advocate Averl Anderson knows exactly what it’s like to survive and thrive after a cancer diagnosis. Averl is dedicated to empowering individuals to take control of their health and continues to fight for cures by voicing the importance of clinical research. Learn more about Averl’s journey here.

We would love to hear more from survivors like Averl, so please consider sharing your story by emailing us at info@JoinImIn.org.
